These mixed media art works below were created by elementary and middle school-aged students, who have participated in Cyndi’s art classes.

Cyndi, trained as occupational therapist and artist, teaches at schools, in after-school programs and in her studio. She also volunteers, sharing her passion for art-making with youth of all ages and abilities.

Students with special needs, TAG students or home-schooler’s are all welcome.

CREATE-A-SKIN ART CLASS

Using a jeweler’s loupe and close observation students observe and draw texture from clams, driftwood, coral, animals, leaves and more. These textures  are drawn onto everyday objects to create exciting unique surface designs. Poetry is created from student observations.
